Take advantage of this last weekend of September

It's the last weekend of September, and as it is in New York State, there is so much going on. The weather is beautiful; there are dozens upon dozens of organized activities; and people have plans up the wazoo. I myself have issues with the fact that it's the weekend of the Dumbo Arts Council's festival under the bridge, and I've got a party planned. (How does one cut out of one's own party to attend three others?)

Since there is SO MUCH going on this "official" beginning of Autumn, take the opportunity to spend it with someone. If you're single, that means get a date.

(And here's where I plug my book: If you don't know how to get a date, get my book on Amazon.com. It's also available on Kindle. I hope you knew that already.)

Anyway, there must be SOMETHING you'd like to do. Plan it. Invite someone. Do it. Go. And if your date flakes on you, go anyway and meet someone new, or run into somebody known. Don't be a cynic.
"What is a cynic? A man who knows the price of everything and the value of nothing." -Oscar Wilde

Have fun :) and please come back and share stories.
